The 50 watt Nightlighter pool light is the perfect swimming pool lighting  for medium sized pools. In my opinion the 50 watt Nightlighter is appropriate for 15 to 18 ft round pools. It is designed to fit any hard sided above ground pool. It is attached on the sidewall and is secured under the pool ledge. Installation time is about 15 minutes and involves removing several screws from your cap and ledge. I have installed these myself and they are very easy to put up. The only tool you will need is a screwdriver.

This above ground pool light system is a very effective way of easily creating a beautiful water feature and extending your swim hours well after dark.

After searching high and low for quality solar pool lights we have been unable to find any that meet the quality standards that we are committed to providing you. We have scoured reviews and product descriptions with no success.

The most common complaint seems to be based on the fact that the currently available solar pool lights do not provide adequate lighting. Many reviews suggested buying 3 or 4 lights to illuminate your pool. At roughly $20.00 per light the value does not appear to be there.

There also appears to be a quality issue. Becuase of the low cost of these units, manufacturers are hesitant to “bulk up” the housing of these units to make them more durable and longer lasting.
